6 Keto Dinner Sides That'll Make Your Low-carb Meals Tastier

Here are some delicious keto dinner sides that can add flavor, texture, and variety to your meals.

Keto Ham and Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms

Stuffed mushroom

  • 1 tub (7oz) Buddig Original Beef Lunch Meat, minced
  • 12 large white button mushrooms
  • ½ cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnishing)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems to create a hollow in each mushroom cap.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the minced beef, shredded cheddar cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, cream cheese, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly melded.
  • Fill the mushroom caps with the beef and cheese mixtures.
  • Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a lightly greased baking dish. Bake them in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the mushrooms are tender and the cheese is melted and slightly golden.
  • Once done, garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Grilled Asparagus with Ham Wraps

Asparagus wrap with ham slices

  • Prepare the asparagus by trimming off the tough ends. Toss the asparagus spears in olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Wrap each asparagus spear with a slice of thinly sliced ham, starting from the bottom and spiraling upwards.
  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  • Place the ham-wrapped asparagus on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until the ham is crispy and the asparagus is tender. Serve this side dish with your favorite keto beef recipe for dinner for a scrumptious meal.

Keto Antipasto Platter

A cheese and meat board

  • Start preparing this no-cook keto dinner side by arranging the deli meats on a serving platter. You can fold or roll the slices for a more attractive presentation.
  • Place the blue cheese and parmesan cheese slices or shavings on the platter, interspersing them with the deli meats.
  • Add the black olives to the platter by either placing them in a separate section or scattering them around the meats and cheeses.
  • Finally, after creating a visually appealing layout, serve the Antipasto Platter along with the other keto dinners for your family.

Chicken Cauliflower Rice Stir-Fry

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic, minced

  • Stir-fry the cauliflower rice and bell peppers in the skillet for 3-4 minutes until cooked.
  • Add the grilled chicken breast strips and soy sauce to the skillet. Mix everything until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Remove the skillet from the heat, sprinkle sliced green onions on top, and give it a final stir.
