Delicious, Easy Snacks to Make Whenever You Need a Pick-Me-Up
Hot Italian Sliders
Source
Ingredients
- 9 slices salami
- 6 slices deli Buddig Ham
- 6 slices Buddig Pastrami
- 6 slices mozzarella cheese (provolone or Swiss are great too)
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
- 1 package (12 oz.) Hawaiian sweet rolls
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp. store-bought pesto
- 1 cup store-bought giardiniera
- 1 cup basil leaves (fresh)
- 1/2 cup red onion, sliced
- 1/4 cup Italian salad dressing
- Pepperoncini (optional)
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- Halve the sweet rolls horizontally and place the bottom rolls in a greased baking dish.
- Combine the mayonnaise and pesto and spread on the bottom layer of the rolls. Top with a layer of salami, ham, pastrami, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, giardiniera, basil leaves, red onions, and pepperoncini (if desired).
- Place the top layer of rolls over everything else and press gently to make sure everything sticks together.
- Bake for around 10 minutes before taking out the baking dish. Brush the top of the rolls with Italian salad dressing then bake for an additional 5 minutes—the cheese should be melted and the rolls should be golden brown.
- Let the sliders cool a bit before cutting them into individual sandwiches.
