Raspberry Summer Salad Recipe


  • 6 oz. Buddig Smoked Honey Turkey Breast
  • 6 oz. Buddig Smoked Ham
  • 2 heads romaine lettuce
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup melon
  • 4 Tbsp. toasted sesame seeds
  • 4 Tbsp. chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup skim milk
  • 6 oz. goat cheese
Raspberry Dressing:
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 3 Tbsp. honey
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3/4 cup balsamic vinegar

  • For this delicious summer salad we will use a variety of seasonal fruits with goat cheese and Buddig Honey Turkey Breast to create a delicious, healthy meal full of flavor.
  • Place the raspberries in a bowl, pour the honey and salt on them and grind them with a fork. Allow the raspberries to release their juices and the flavors to combine. Let it stand while the rest of the ingredients are prepared.
  • Cut the lettuce into small pieces, slice the strawberries and remove the rind of the melon and cut into pieces.
  • On a griddle toast the sesame seeds over medium heat, moving constantly, for around 2 minutes. Chop the nuts.
  • Roll 2 or 3 slices of Buddig Ham of your choice and then cut with a knife.
  • Put milk in a bowl and mix with goat cheese to achieve a softer texture. You can use a pastry bag to place the cheese on the salad.
  • Mix the lettuce with the fruit, sesame, pecans and ham. Decorate the top with goat cheese.
  • Once your salad is ready, place the mixture of raspberries with honey and salt in a blender and add olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Mix well and use this delicious dressing over the rich and colorful salad.
