Pita Sandwich Recipe


  • 12 oz. Buddig Original Ham (6 packages, 2 oz. each)
  • 1 oz. Dijon mustard
  • 1 oz. sweet BBQ sauce
  • 2 pita breads
  • 4 leaves lettuce
  • 2 oz. roasted red peppers
  • 2 oz. bread and butter pickles
  • 4 slices muenster cheese

  • Heat oven broiler to high.
  • Mix mustard and BBQ sauce together and spread from center of pita to one inch from edge.
  • Place lettuce on pita, covering as much surface as possible; add roasted red peppers and pickles on top of lettuce.
  • Top with Buddig Ham; layer to edge of pita.
  • Add cheese on top of ham and place pita under broiler for approximately one minute until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from broiler, fold and eat.
