BBQ Turkey Pizza Pockets


  • 22 oz. pre-made bread or pizza dough
  • 16 oz. Buddig Premium Deli Smoked Honey Turkey or Buddig Original Turkey
  • 12 oz. pepper jack cheese - shredded
  • 2 oz. BBQ sauce
  • 1 ea onion - small and finely diced
  • 1 ea green pepper - small and finely diced
  • 1 ea egg - beaten with a tablespoon of water

  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • Portion pizza dough into eight 2-1/2 oz. segments; roll out into 6" rounds.
  • Add a spoonful of BBQ sauce onto one half of dough round.
  • Add turkey, onion, green pepper and pepper jack cheese on top of BBQ sauce (do not overfill), leaving a half-inch edge.
  • Fold over other half of dough to form a turnover.
  • Using a fork, press the edges of the dough together to seal.
  • Place pies on a parchment lined baking sheet; brush with egg wash.
  • Place baking sheet in oven and bake until golden brown and delicious.
  • Remove from oven, let rest for 15 minutes and serve.
